Auditions for 2012-2013 - The Portland Youth Rock Orchestra is now scheduling auditions for the up and coming 2012-2013 season at various locations in and around Portland. Working with Local Schools - The Portland Youth Rock Orchestra is working with Portland Public Schools as well as other public school districts around Oregon and Washington. PYRO encourages kids to become involved in their local school band, orchestra and choir programs. In addition to private music instruction, this is one of the best ways for student musicians to develop and for the local music community to grow and thrive.
